Epoxy floor for garages

Durable, aesthetic and easy-to-maintain floor coating for private and commercial garages. Protects concrete from oil, fuel, salt and winter chemicals.

Why does a garage need an epoxy floor?

A garage floor is one of the most abused concrete surfaces in homes and businesses. Every winter it is treated with de-icing salt, which actively corrodes the concrete. Motor oil, fuel and hydraulic fluid absorb into the porous concrete, forming indelible stains. Cold and thaw cycles create micro-cracks that widen over time. Without protection a garage floor degrades far faster than it should.

Epoxy floor for garages solves all these problems with one solution — a hermetic, chemically resistant and mechanically durable coating that protects the concrete and makes the garage aesthetically attractive.

Oil and fuel barrier

Oil spill? Wipe with a cloth — on epoxy it does not absorb. Concrete stays clean and intact.

❄️

Winter salt protection

De-icing chemicals cannot penetrate the epoxy layer — concrete corrosion stops from the very first winter.

Easy cleaning

Smooth, monolithic coating — dust and dirt wipe away with a dry or damp cloth. No porous surfaces.

Aesthetic appearance

Many colours available — grey, anthracite, blue, red or your choice. Decorative flakes can be added.

Non-slip surface

Quartz additives provide a safe surface even in a wet and damp garage — especially important in winter.

15–20 year service life

Quality epoxy flooring in a garage lasts long — unlike cheap paints that peel after 1–2 years.

Private garage vs. car service — different requirements

For a private garage (20–80 m²) we most often choose a 2 mm epoxy coating with non-slip quartz. Aesthetic options with decorative coloured flakes or metallic effect coating are available. Such a garage can be completed in 1–2 days.

For an auto service or mechanics workshop (100+ m²) a thicker coating is needed — 3 mm — with reinforced chemical resistance to solvents, brake fluid and hydraulic oil. Non-slip quartz is a mandatory safety element. Light colours improve workshop lighting.

For apartment building car parks we choose systems with reinforced abrasion resistance, since the daily traffic intensity is much higher. Yellow warning lines and directional markings incorporated into the epoxy system are often requested.

What does the process look like?

A garage epoxy floor is usually completed in 1–3 days depending on area. Process: 1. Concrete grinding with diamond-head machine — approximately half a day. 2. Priming — on day one. 3. Epoxy coating + quartz — on day two. 4. Curing and top coat — 24–48 hours. After that the garage can be used.
