Hygienic, antibacterial and chemically resistant floor coating for food production, pharmaceutical companies and industrial facilities. Complies with EU regulations.
A production facility is one of the most demanding environments for any floor covering. Here the floor simultaneously faces mechanical load from equipment and vehicles, chemical load from process substances, thermal load from production processes, and sanitary requirements imposed by industry regulations.
Epoxy floors for production facilities are engineered to satisfy all these requirements simultaneously. Depending on the industry — food production, metalworking, chemicals or pharmaceuticals — the appropriate system with the right parameters is selected.
Antibacterial, seamless coating compliant with EU food hygiene regulations. Resistant to hot water and disinfection chemicals.
Complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Antistatic versions available for electronics and pharmaceutical rooms.
Abrasion-resistant coating that withstands metal swarf, oils and constant exposure to cutting fluids.
Special chemically resistant epoxy formulas — withstand acids, alkalis and aggressive solvents.
Non-slip surface with quartz for wet environments — mandatory requirement for kitchens, washrooms and beverage production.
Monolithic, seamless coating without niches or gaps — ideal for microbiological cleanliness and daily cleaning efficiency.
In food production facilities, floor coverings are governed by EU directives. A hygienic floor coating must be: hermetic and pore-free (preventing bacterial growth), resistant to hot water and steam (75–100°C disinfection), impermeable to organic substances and oils, and easily disinfectable with industrial cleaning agents.
Epoxy floors for food production satisfy all these requirements. Additionally available is an antibacterial coating with silver ion additive that actively inhibits bacterial and mold growth even without chemical disinfection.
Pharmaceutical production plants require stricter systems than standard manufacturing. GMP requirements specify that the floor coating must be: easily washable and sterilizable, without seams and planes where dirt accumulates, resistant to solvents and disinfectants.
Additionally, antistatic epoxy systems are often required to prevent electrostatic charge build-up — important in rooms where certain active pharmaceutical ingredients or electronic equipment are handled.
Production facility system price depends on industry requirements, concrete condition and project size. Food and pharmaceutical systems may be of a higher class.
